I am a highly successful health journalist and editor for national newspapers, websites and leading healthcare organisations. I have 20 years’ experience covering health issues for a wide range of national newspapers and magazines, holding senior positions at The Press Association, The Daily Express and The Mail on Sunday and winning awards for my work. Since going freelance, I also work in health communications, offering healthcare organisations advice on how to effectively get their message across through website content, press releases, brochures and reports, and edit a series of in-house magazines for a large healthcare company, leading a team of writers. I also take part in guest sessions on university journalism courses and am a member of the Medical Journalists’ Association.

In 2017, I was a finalist in the Medical Journalists’ Association Awards for a case study-led article about the benefits of Dry January published in the Good Health section of the Daily Mail.
